Hi Lawrence, There is no robot working at Columbia Auto Group. Our Cory AI pilot has ended. No employees were replaced, and we have no plans to replace our people with robots. From September 30–October 6, we partnered with a local Canadian tech startup to test a robot assistant. Most of the pilot took place behind the scenes, with limited time at our service counter. Its purpose was to explore help with repetitive administrative tasks, giving our busy advisors more time to focus on customers. Our team is the heart of our family business. We employ 30 people, including eight skilled, full-time service advisors. Some have been with us for decades. Their knowledge, experience and care are essential to the service we provide. Supporting them and their families through good wages and benefits is a responsibility we take seriously. We’re proud to support Canadian innovation while continuing to grow and invest in our people. For us, exploring new technology means finding ways to support the team and customer relationships that have always made our business what it is.
